BOW 400

Universal Test Set for Recloser Controls

ARCO 400 is a smart and rugged solution for testing recloser control. It provides the fastest way to perform manual tripping and recloser checking. Utilizing OMICRON intelligent connection technology, ARCO 400 is able to detect recloser specific test adapters.

The device simulates the recloser and allows three-phase testing of the controller in both laboratory and field environments. ARCO 400 is equipped with 3 accurate 12.5A current amplifiers, 6-phase voltage amplifiers (8 V or 150 V range), six binary inputs, and nine binary outputs.

PRIMARY INJECTION TESTING

Electrical diagnostics CPC-100

The CPC 100 can be used to perform electrical tests on transformers, current transformers, voltage transformers, grounding systems, power lines and cables and circuit breakers.

The patented test system replaces several individual test devices and offers new and innovative test methods.

The CPC 100 is the basis for various accessories. These enable new applications, e.g. Tan Delta measurements, as well as line and ground impedance measurements.

FRANEO 800

Isolation monitors for main current circuits in IT systems, (Motors, Pumps) - without directly connected rectifiers.

FRANEO 800 replaces the existing FRAnalyzer Measurement System, provides hardware enhancements and new software functionality:

  • Largest dynamic range in the SFRA test industry (>145dB)
  • High accuracy measurements (±0.5 dB guaranteed)
  • Grounding check for connection verification and to ensure greater reproducibility in tests.
  • Wide frequency range (1Hz to 30Mhz).
  • Freely adjustable output voltage (0.1Vpp to 10Vpp @ 50 Ohms).
  • Improved accessories (new small Li-Ion battery for long operating time).
  • Integrated with the Primary Test Manager (PTM) software tool for better analysis, comparison and reporting of tests.

Dirana

Allows the detection of moisture in the oil-impregnated paper of transformers by analyzing the dielectric response.

Such a response generates useful information about the condition of the high voltage insulation. However, it is important to subject the insulation to a wide frequency band, as the typical measurement at the mains frequency limits the results.

The equipment measures the dissipation factor and capacitance of rotating machine insulation systems.

It is used to calculate the moisture content of insulation in the following applications:

  • Power transformers.
  • Cables insulated with paper mass.
  • Terminals.
  • Instrument transformers (CT/PT)

Delta Tangent

CPTD1

Omicron's transformer diagnostic system is a unique test set that facilitates automatic testing of important transformer parameters in a single portable system. The test system consists of the multifunctional CPC 100 primary test system and the CP TD1 Tangente Delta unit. The patented CPC 100 is the main control unit for the test system and the CP TD1 unit is used to test the insulation condition.

These units together constitute the system that is considered the ideal tool for complete testing of the following parameters of a power transformer:

  • Winding resistance
  • Transformer ratio and excitation current
  • On-load tap changer status
  • Leakage reactance
  • Insulation condition (capacitance, delta tangent, power factor)

FRAnalyzer

Frequency response analyzer

It was developed to check the integrity of power transformers after transformer transport or the occurrence of high currents. The FRAnalyzer follows the principle of Sweep Frequency Response Analysis (SFRA) and measures the electrical transfer functions over a wide frequency range.
It detects winding defects and magnetic core faults - thus helping to increase reliability, reduce maintenance costs and avoid costly transformer failures.

Areas of application

The FRAnalyzer is used for transformer testing, after:

  • A short circuit
  • Transportation
  • Occurrence of high transient fault currents
  • A significant change in the recorded values (e.g. combustible gases) or a safety shutdown

  • Measurement of the usual operating conditions of the transformers

CT Analyzer

A revolution in current transformer testing

The CT Analyzer automatically determines all required current transformer values and compares the results with the selected standard. At the push of a button, the device evaluates the current transformer according to the IEC or IEEE standard within seconds. It enables fast and cost-effective field testing and calibration of current transformers for measuring and protection purposes. Main features
  • Highest measurement accuracy: 0.02 % / 1 min. when calibrating in the field.

VOTANO 100

Accurate and mobile testing and calibration of voltage transformers

VOTANO 100 can perform quick tests of all important voltage transformer (VT) parameters. It is the first mobile testing device that also offers high accuracy. The measured results are automatically evaluated according to IEEE and IEC standards. The low weight of the VOTANO 100 makes it ideal for field testing and calibration in power networks, production plants and test / development laboratories. The system is supplied with a separate VBO1 voltage amplifier. This 4 kV amplifier provides the necessary test voltage during ratio measurement. Main features
  • Very high accuracy allows field calibration of TT up to 0.1 accuracy class.
  • Excellent mobility due to small size and low weight (< 15 kg)
  • Automatic evaluation of the result according to IEEE and IEC standards directly after testing

Relay Test Set CMC 356

The CMC 356 is the universal solution for testing all generations and types of protection relays. Its six powerful current sources (three-phase mode: up to 64 A / 860 VA per channel) with a large dynamic range make the unit capable of testing even high-load electromechanical relays with very high power demands.

The CMC 356 is the ideal choice for applications requiring the highest versatility, amplitude and power. Commissioning engineers especially appreciate its ability to perform wiring and plausibility checks of current transformers by primary injection of high currents from the test set.

Software package IEC 61850

Omicron has incorporated the most common communication protocol test tools into a single package:

  • Goose Configuration Module: allows testing of protective devices with IEC 61850 GOOSE messages. It is used to configure the assignments and to configure the test set for communication with the substation network.
  • Sampled Values Configuration Module: Allows the CMC test set to be configured for the generation of IEC 61850 Sampled Values. Depending on the test set model, up to three Sampled Values streams can be generated simultaneously.
  • IEDScout: is a universal IEC 61850 server client (such as substation IEDs) and GOOSE message editor/subscriber. It provides many useful functions that are needed in the substation or laboratory.

CIBANO 500

3-in-1 test system for medium and high voltage power circuit breakers

The CIBANO 500 circuit breaker test system combines a micro-ohmmeter, a synchronism analyzer and a coil and motor power supply in a single instrument. This makes it possible to perform all important circuit breaker tests even when the substation battery is not available.

With the 3-in-1 system you can test all types of circuit breakers (medium and high voltage circuit breakers).
